When I say that Congressman and Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich is ahead of his time, I mean that literally. I went to the Kucinich for President web site today, January 8, 2007, and saw that there is blog entry that was published tomorrow, January 9, 2007 at 1:21 PM.
The blog posting declares that Kucinich is “The Voice Of The New American Majority”. I’m confused, though. Is that American majority new today or tomorrow?
I say that the title of Voice of The New American Majority is a bit too cumbersome for use on the campaign trail. Why doesn’t Dennis Kucinich just adopt the name Captain Tomorrow? If he doesn’t win the presidential campaign, he could always start a rock and roll band: Captain Tomorrow and the Voice of the New America Majority.
that’s redundant. the frontman is assumed to be the singer; the band would just be called Captain Tomorrow and the New American Majority
No it isn’t, not necessarily. The Voice of the New American Majority could be the backup singers, like the Pips were for Gladys Knight and the Pips. After all, having a majority represented by just one person doesn’t really make sense, does it?
