Connections, Connections on the Unity08 Founders Council

You know, when I take a look at the Founders’ Council of Unity08 (the political corporation housed inside a Colorado public relations office trying to stage-manage the election of America’s next president and vice president), I see a lot of people from Atlanta, Georgia:

Ellen Frauenthal, Atlanta, Georgia. Physician, founder MD on Call, a unique, first-in-the-nation practice for individuals/families, focused on prevention and treatment; mother of three.

Lasley Gober, Atlanta, Georgia. Award-winning high school teacher of English and American studies, writer and editor; mother of three.

Hamilton Jordan, Atlanta, Georgia. Carter White House Chief of Staff, writer, investor; focused on for-profit and non-profit start-ups; most importantly, father of three.

Kathleen Jordan, Atlanta, Georgia. High school senior, writer, artist, volunteer and activist.

That’s the text Unity08 supplies for these four.

They don’t tell you that Kathleen Jordan is Hamilton Jordan’s daughter.

They also don’t tell you that Lasley Gober is a teacher at Kathleen Jordan’s high school.

And finally, they don’t tell you that Ellen Frauenthal is a former member of the board of Camp Kudzu, a camp which Kathleen Jordan attended. Guess who else is on the board of Camp Kudzu? Dorothy Jordan, who is married to Hamilton Jordan. It’s no mystery as to why Camp Kudzu has Dorothy Jordan on the board — Hamilton and Dorothy Jordan are the founders of the camp themselves. How did Ellen Frauenthal come to be on the board of two organizations — Camp Kudzu and Unity08 — that Hamilton Jordan co-founded? It’s a mystery.

Unity08 talks a good game about ending insider politics and letting we little people in on the game. But is Unity08 really letting the little people in? Are all these connections just a coincidence? Or is there an explanation for them? A simple explanation? I’d love to hear it.

thank you so much for keeping up the pursuit of information with respect to “unity08.” it does the public much good to know the truth about what actually lies behind the curtain.

    go irregular times go!

p.s. they haven’t bothered to respond to my request for information either. i guess they are an indiscriminatory ignorer of all discomfiting inquiries.

    Karen,

Thanks for the encouragement. Could you let me know what information you’ve requested, where, and how? It’s becoming increasingly clear that we need to document, document, document what Unity08 is doing.

The high school attended by Miss Jordan and the employer of her teacher Mrs. Gober, The Westminster Schools, is also an uber-private academy. Tuition for the school year just ended was nearly $17,000 for Miss Jordan to attend. Now I’m not saying that’s a bad thing necessarily; my own children attend private school as well, although for a LOT less. But it makes you wonder how supportive and in tune with your average American these folks can be when they don’t live in the average world.

It seems to me that Unity08 is just another attempt to grab power for one’s own interests under the guise that they are fervent and sincere in abolishing the current nepotistic political system. If so, good idea hiring your friends and family.
