Seven Democrats Vote Against Veto Override

A thank you goes out to most of the Democrats in the House of Representatives yesterday, for trying to override George W. Bush’s veto of legislation that would have set a date to end the military occupation of Iraq. However, a big thumbs down goes to a few Democrats who supported George W. Bush’s attempt to keep the U.S. fighting in Iraq. The following House Democrats voted with the Republicans, against overriding the veto:

  • John Barrow of Georgia
  • Dan Boren of Oklahoma
  • Lincoln Davis of Tennessee
  • James Marshall of Georgia
  • James Matheson of Utah
  • Michael McNulty of New York
  • Gene Taylor of Mississippi

If you’re represented by one of these Democrats, take note. They should be targeted for primary election challenges in 2008. They’re not needed to maintain a Democratic majority in the House of Representatives, and they voted to keep America mixed up in the war in Iraq.

Well…I took the time this morning to send them a note of thanks for seeing the error of their ways…and a note of distain to my local Rep….and, naturally, a check to the local RNC chapter for my district. My rep voted for the surrender…and he WILL be gone….

    2. Tom says:

Vote ‘em out along with the rest of the fascists in the next election! War as policy is complete idiocy. Hey Harrold, are you anti-environment too? Let’s bomb the environment!

    3. Phil says:

Hey tom, more murders per month in the USA, than a 4 years overseas war, yet you say nothing???

Are you a coward tommy? Is appeasement your way of life?

Are you pro-abortion, but against the death penalty?
