If you’ve been reading Irregular Times over the past few months, you’re probably familiar with our growing discomfort using CafePress to sell shirts. It seems that their commitment to offer American Apparel shirts is waning in a relative sense, and quite possibly in an absolute sense as well. We’ve found an alternative in Skreened, a small non-corporate outfit of a just couple of young and very earnest people who are building a business around printing solely on ethically made American Apparel clothing.
Well, it’s taken us a while, but I’m happy to say that as of today we’ve completed our switch. We now have a complete web shop up right here at Irregular Times, organized by topic, which presents hundreds of designs of t-shirts for your perusal. Pick the design you like with the message that speaks to you, and you can put it on any one of a number of different styles of t-shirts, for men, women, kids and even babies, in a rainbow of color choices. Yes, there’s even an organic shirt available. And each and every shirt is made ethically, without sweatshop labor, by American Apparel.
