CorpWatch Summarizes Halliburton’s Ethical Problems

The relationship between Halliburton and Vice President Dick Cheney has made Halliburton the target of special scrutiny, but Halliburton’s activities are so large that it can be difficult for citizens to keep track of the many problems associated with the corporation’s expanding powers. Lucky for us, there’s CorpWatch, which puts together reports on unethical corporate behavior so that the rest of us can understand what corporations’ public relations departments are eager for us to overlook.

CorpWatch has issued an alternative annual report for 2007 on Halliburton summarizing the ethical lapses in the corporation’s activities. The release of the report was timed to coincide with Halliburton’s own, more selective, report on its corporate activities.

Must be nice to rip off the entire country at the expense of human lives and our collective treasury just to make yourself even richer than when you entered office (this term – i mean, the guy’s a career politician, he’s been doin’ this his whole life!).
