Al Gore Considering Presidential Run, Say Tabloids

Al Gore‘s latest comment on running for President in 2008 plays a little bit more on the positive side than previous statements, give pro-Gore activists renewed hope that he will be their candidate for the Democratic nomination. “I have not ruled (a presidential run) out entirely because I’m only 59, and 59 is the new 58 you know,” Gore says.

Gore is clearly having fun with speculation about a 2008 presidential campaign. I find this latest news of Gore’s coy ploy is covered in celebrity tabloids, not in the Washington Post. If you can’t beat Paris Hilton, join her.
