On July 14 2007, Vladimir Putin informed NATO that he would suspend Russia’s compliance with the Conventional Forces in Europe arms limitation treaty and consider itself free to redeploy heavy weaponry on the continent.
All this because George W. Bush is deploying a missile shield in Europe… that doesn’t work.
