Maybe it’s time to post the link to The Onion’s FISA article, titled, “Congress Approves Surveillance Measures”

The Democratic-controlled House passed a bill that will allow wide-ranging domestic and foreign eavesdropping that would be authorized by a secret court. What do you think?

While a good portion of the blogosphere is ready to elect Ed Albaugh to something, I can readily identify with Mr. Loving. All those odd background noises are a definite chilling factor in a budding romance. You want some privacy to make your moves or even have a proper lovers’ quarrel, and you just can’t do it with the whole FBI listening in. At my age all I need is one more impediment.

It’s time (WAY overdue) to “turn it around.” Everytime a Bushlican or Bushocrat tells another bold-faced lie; impugns the integrity & intelligence of American citizens; calls us unpatriotic or “not supporting the troops”- CALL THEM ON IT! Loud and to their face- turn it around! When they say “I have nothing to hide, so I don’t care if they spy” then turn it around, and say, “If Bush has nothing to hide, then why is he refusing Rove, Jennings, Miers, Taylor, et al, to testify? Provide documents? Talk to Congress?” ENOUGH! Save America and- turn it around!

If you are doing nothing wrong you have nothing to fear, except maybe your loss of privacy and civil rights as an American and Human Being!

You have the right to free speech, and if you wish that conversation to be private, that is also your right. (or it used to be)
