As of this afternoon, our growing list of reasons to elect a progressive President in 2008 has reached 555. That’s 27.6 percent of our goal of 2,008 reasons before January 1 of 2008, leaving us still with 72.4 percent to go.

Progressive priorities are reflected in the focus of our list so far, with the most reasons so far in the category of peace. Today, we reached 100 reasons for peace, the largest category in our list. 92 reasons focus on the problems created by the Republicans. The environment is close behind with 90 reasons.
