This short music video is based on the American folk classic O Shenandoah, but celebrates a recent development, the ejection of the Blackwater company’s mercenaries from Iraq, in reaction to the killing of Iraqi civilians by a Blackwater mercenary team.
It’s long past time that this out of control group of soldiers for hire was brought to account. Let’s hope it sticks.
