Sluggish John McCain Campaign Out of Date on Updates

Republican presidential candidate John McCain has been doing what he can to recapture his position as Republican frontrunner. Unfortunately for the hopes of McCain supporters, that doesn’t mean much. After a short burst of renewed activity, the McCain for President campaign seems to be getting its limp back.

The latest installment of the McCain Update came on September 15, ten days ago. There hasn’t been a posting on the McCain campaign blog for four days. Before that, there was a six day gap. On the September 14, the McCain campaign tried introducing a new press outreach element to their campaign: Friday Fast Facts, a review of the activities of the campaign over the last week. The next week, however, there was no Friday Fast Facts. The new tradition died on the vine after just one try. It seems that the McCain for President campaign just couldn’t come up with enough material to put together into another Friday Fast Facts. Too tired.

The supposed resurgence of the John McCain 2008 campaign now seems more like final loud yawn from a man who has entered his political evening and is ready to settle down to bed.
