   Here’s a bit from the Associated Press that made me chuckle:

   Former President Carter, himself a Peace Prize recipient, tells NBC that he’s urged Gore to run so many times that Gore finally told him, “please do not call me anymore.”

   What, you think Uncle Al can save us from where we’re going? Guess again.
   The military-industrial complex has a strangle-hold on Congress and NOTHING is going to change (for the better for the common American citizen) even if he is elected president. Unless he too declares himself dictator and makes us go in the right direction, Congress will fight him at every turn (since they’re owned by corporate Amerikkka now).

   that doesn’t mean you should give up, tom. it means you should work harder to elect people fro outside that system inot the lower levels, and slowly on up.

   and, of course, stop eating, drinking, and breathing corporate, if you can find a way.
