NOAA: A Swiftly Tilting Arctic

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released an update to its report card on the Arctic. They indicate that areas that were classic tundra now are growing shrubs. Geese are proliferating. The size of Caribou herds has shrunk by up to 80%.

Something’s changing, and it’s going to be a warm winter.

Don’t you realize that this whole global warming theory is simply a vast liberal conspiracy to weaken our nation and our economy so that we can be overrun by communist hoards from the third world?

    Just kidding. ;-)

Seriously, I can’t comprehend how some people can continue to deny that our planet is going through significant climatological changes and the humans are the primary cause. The evidence is overwhelming!

  2. Tom says:

Yeah Mark and our “elected leaders” who now work solely and wholely for the corporate sector aren’t raising a finger to change anything significant in that regard. So changing lightbulbs and recycling is now about as meaningful as arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. . .
    Enjoy the ride to oblivion.
