![]() | Bush Administration Redacts Science, Again |
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Julie L. Gerberding was asked to testify before the U.S. Senate on October 22, 2007 regarding the impact of climate change on health and infectious disease and submit a written report on the same topic. Gerberding prepared 14 pages of specific, detailed, referenced remarks for the Senate. The White House deleted Gerberding’s specific references to the scientific literature on the subject, reducing Gerberding’s written report to a generalist 4 pages. As a colleague of Gerberding’s put it, the employment of scientific findings to inform policy has yet again been “eviscerated” by the Bush White House.

Why do things like this surprise you - it happens all the time with this administration AND NOTHING IS EVER DONE ABOUT IT!! Bush and Congress and the Supreme Court no longer work for “we the sheeple.” Get used to it. Not enough people care to do anything about any of these high crimes against the Constitution, the Bill of Rights or even the law in general, so it’s most likely that these type of behaviors will continue unabated until the next dictator is “elected.”

What did YOU do about the FISA amendment, Tom? Did you call your senators yet?
I find the use of the word “sheeple” ironic.

Yeah, Wilson - i’ve been all over the Bush administration and Congress since Bush took office. Why don’t you do something to help stop Bush? Are you happy about the state of the U.S., the world and the environment since he’s “lead our nation?” i love assholes like you commenting about those of us who see things the way they are (fucking TERRIBLE), pointing fingers and making self-serving accusations and ignorant opinions instead of doing something to change things. Okay jerk-off? Shut the fuck up and get out of the way. You would find the term “sheeple” ironic, except the irony is that you’re one of them too!

So much anger. So many naughty words.
This should convince everyone absolutely of the necessity of a good, nutritionally balanced breakfast and the folly of blogging on an empty stomach.
