I’ve been working on what was to be a new aspect of Irregular Times since dawn. It was supposed to be, once I set it up, simple and straightforward. Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked out. All I’ve been able to produce is the short movie you see here.
The software Anime Studio 5 makes a lot of promises. The software certainly would have a lot of promise, if it worked. Unfortunately, every time that I try to export an animated movie of anything longer than just a few seconds from Anime Studio 5, the program crashes. I’ve had the program crash at least 25 times today as I try to find a way to export a movie into a format that anyone could actually see. As fun as making animations on Anime Studio 5 may be, it’s not worth anything if I can’t actually get what I produce out of the proprietary Anime Studio 5 file format.
The problem isn’t my computer. The computer and its software are well within the recommended parameters.
I was interested in expanding the presentation of Irregular Times beyond text and ordinary video and audio content, but I could have written many articles in the time that I spent trying to get an animation up online. I think I’ll be sticking with words for a while – the empty promise of multimedia production that works has turned sour in my mouth.
your blog popped up on my alerts, have you contacted e frontier support to identify this issue, I would suggest it as I don’t see others having this problem, would you like me to have someone contact you about it.

Popped on mine also. AS5 is designed to limit the length of an animation. Hence teh pricepoint. AS Pro will allow unlimted length. Hoever it should not crash. This is probably hapening when teh alert dialogue is about to be displayed. e frontier can be reached via teh following url:

You know, that’s lame. If you buy a piece of software for, what, $50??? it should WORK, not be designed to crash. Besides being lame, it’s a really bad way to build up a good brand reputation, and a really good way to piss people off. Consider that.
You Know, I was very happy about this Anime Studio software
Until I bought it. And what a pain in the ass it has been.
On a simple animation mine crashes when I undo something.
what e frontier is selling is BS for $50 and then they want you to upgrade to the Pro version for an extra $150 more BS.
When it was Moho From Lost Marble 1 Man did a great job.
E frontier is a company with a bunch of geeks that cant get it together. Guys This cost money and we don’t print money in computers.Get it together.
