What Time Does A Retro Alarm Clock Tell?

Starting some time today, CafePress will be giving out a free “retro alarm clock” with all orders over $75. We’ve got a few CafePress shops, including our original CafePress shop at Irregular Goods. So, if you’re really itching for a retro alarm clock, go on and get yourself a bunch of bumper stickers, and maybe a some campaign buttons and a poster or t-shirt or two.

It’s a limited time offer, lasting only until they run out of retro alarm clocks. A limited time offer on alarm clocks.

That got me wondering. What kind of time does a retro alarm clock tell? The essence of retro is to go back to a previous time that we wish would come back. So, does a retro alarm clock make it 7:00 AM twice in the day? Lots of possibilities in that, I think.

Maybe it’s a counterclock, where the hands go counterclockwise.
