Do you love babies? Do you want to save the babies? Then you need to stop voting for conservatives.
When conservatives like George W. Bush get into office, they appoint other conservatives to positions in which they can do things that will result in the death of babies. Take, for instance, the appointment of fundamentalist Focus on the Family’s Susan Orr to head the government’s contraception program. Orr has repeatedly opposed the distribution of contraception and the coverage of contraception in health insurance programs in the past. Why? She feels that encouraging the use of contraceptives is “not about choice. It’s not about health care. It’s about making everyone collaborators with the culture of death.”
But, see, the thing is that contraceptive use actually saves babies’ lives. World Health Organization cross-national data shows that even controlling for economic conditions, where contraceptive use is higher newborn mortality is lower. That’s because the use of contraception leads to longer spacing between pregnancies, which leads to healthier pregnancies and healthier babies.
When you vote progressive, you vote for an administration that values the positive contributions of contraception. When you vote conservative, you vote for cuts to beneficial contraceptive programs. So go ahead, vote progressive. Do it for the babies.

Yes, great logic. If a baby isn’t born, it can’t die. Therefore, it saves lives.
Screw “stop voting conservative”, how the hell is that going to stop baby death? It’s not like people actually LISTEN to the government when it comes to personal choices in regard to contraception.
How about we all just stop procreating. That way, we’ll DEFINITELY reduce infant mortality.

Sometimes I wonder if conservatives can even read. It says that Bush’s appointee:
1)opposed the distribution of contraception
2)opposed the coverage of contraception in health insurance
What part of that does Joseph not understand.
Perhaps Joseph’s minders are paying him by the post–for quantity and not for quality.
