Multiple studies have shown that the well-being of children in a nation (or in a state within our nation) is negatively associated with the degree of income inequality in that nation (or state), even controlling for absolute income. Progressives are more interested in lowering our national income inequality. If we’re interested in the well-being of our nation’s children, we’d be well advised to elect a more progressive government.
