Back in 2005, when challenged on the constitutionality of the USA Patriot Act, George W. Bush retorted, “Stop throwing the Constitution in my face. It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!” But without that God-damned piece of paper, the presidency doesn’t even exist. Our next president needs to remember that.

Now that Bush (and company) has effectively ignored the Constitution, with both “signing statements” and outright perjury, AND GOTTEN AWAY with it, his dictator status will definitely change the politics of the presidency for a long while. i’m sure Hillary can’t wait to become the next dictator. We’ve lost our freedom of privacy, habeus corpus, and now waterboarding isn’t torture. Watch for the brown shirts after the next “election”.
