And Gordon Brown Needs to Justify Inappropriate Tardis Usage
Jihad Watch responds to the news that Iran was not a significant source of foreign fighters in Iraq after all with the comment that “now, Libya has some explaining to do.” You see, Libya (along with Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, France and other Mediterranean countries) was a country of origin of members of the group that constituted the majority of foreign fighters in Iraq.
I guess this means that Nicolas Sarkozy “has some explaining to do” too, then. And the Turkish government has “some explaining to do” as well. Turkish and French citizens ended up in Iraq, after all.
If national governments have “some explaining to do” for the behavior of their citizens, I guess this means that George W. Bush needs to explain why Britney Spears dropped her baby, and what his administration is going to do about it. The Canadian government needs to explain the increasingly iffy humor of Jim Carrey and the increasingly sappy music of Celine Dion. And yes, Gordon Brown needs to explain all that inappropriate Tardis usage threatening the continuity of space-time.

That’s absurd.
The Doctor is a time lord, not a British citizen.
If the Doctor’s not a British citizen, why does he have a British accent?
If he is a lord, it is the Queen who has some explaining to do.
No, see, you’ve got it all backwards.
When the Time Lords colonized Britain, they imposed their culture and dialect.
The Doctor does not have a British accent.
It’s the British who have Time Lord accents.
