With just under a third of the caucus results in, but here’s my prediction: Barack Obama will win the Iowa caucuses. I’m saying this because he’s slightly ahead, and the precincts that haven’t reported are the precincts in which there’s haggling going on. Heavy discussion. The people who supported other candidates that didn’t reach the necessary 15% threshold for a precinct have to move to some other candidate or go home, and I think (especially given the announcement by Richardson and Kucinich that they wanted this scenario) those caucusgoers will move over to the Obama camp.
Let’s see how it actually plays out. O, the Drama!
