Obama Wins Big. What Next?

At this point, it looks like Barack Obama is going to win the Iowa caucuses by a margin of 7% in the precinct results. That’s a big win when the largest share is 37%.

So what now? What happens next?

My guess: the sheep effect kicks in and Obama wins New Hampshire with Clinton in second place and Edwards a distant third. Then Obama wins South Carolina, while lots of nasty little rumors start to mysteriously appear from anonymous sources about Barack Obama. Edwards and Clinton will continue to campaign vigorously through February 5.

Oh, please. You Americans disturb me. Hillary Clinton is the clear heir to the presidency. Why must you interfere?

No-no mon ami, politics is not as certain as you think.
