Politico is the source:
With ten percent of precincts reporting, Hillary Clinton is ahead of Barack Obama 38 percent to 35 percent, with John Edwards trailing at 16 percent.
On the Republican side, John McCain is far ahead at 37 percent to Mitt Romney’s 28 percent, with Mike Huckabee rounding it out at 12 percent.
Rudolph Giuliani is only at 8 percent, with Ron Paul matching him in failure, just a few tenths of a percent behind in 5th place.
Ron Paul supporters, remind me again how you’re all part of a revolution that is going to change everything and create a libertarian paradise to save us from the North American Union.
Update 8:18 PM : With 12 percent of precincts reporting, Barack Obama is so far not closing the gap – surprising, considering the double digit showing he had in polls just before the primary. It’s Clinton at 38.18 percent and Obama at 35.93 percent, so that’s a little bit more than a 2.2 percent difference for Obama to make up before he can take the lead.
Of course, it’s all still really up in the air with such a small sample of the state.
It’s important to remember that 12 percent of precincts reporting doesn’t mean that 12 percent of the vote has been reported. Precincts aren’t of equal size.
you people are freakin crazy!!! I am really worried about this country if any of you freakin socialists get into the whitehouse
Yeah, but the non-freakin socialists, they’re ok, right? Just so long as they aren’t freakin. The solution is to give all the socialists some barbituates, or at least some beers. Then they’ll be mellow socialists, which is much more reasonable.
No, no. Ima was right. It was really freakin crazy of me to write that John McCain was ahead 37 percent to Mitt Romey’s 28 percent. That was so socialist of me!
Shhh! Shhhh! Don’t let the secret out! Shhh! They’ll find out! Shhh!
