How disspirited are the Republicans? So disspirited that their internal “Anybody But” lists are growing to contain most of the remaining Republican presidential candidates! Take the conservative blog radioactive communist zombies, for instance. RCZ’s Sheldon Townsend looks at the field and decides:
Right now I’m thinking ABM (Anybody but McCain). But that’s not true, I’m also ABH (Anybody but Huckabee). So I guess I’m AMB and H.
In a follow-up publicity e-mail, Townsend adds on that he “Actually, should probably put Paul in that category, too”, which would make him ABMHP. Not too many letters left for Mr. Townsend and his coterie of dispirited believers. I’d feel sorry for the li’l GOP fellas, but I’m still sore from when they stomped on my knuckles for being insufficiently loyal to the Dear Leader back in 2001, and 2002, and 2003, and 2004, and 2005…
