![]() | Hillary Clinton’s Executive Experience in January, 2000 |
I’ve downloaded part of the official calendar of Hillary Clinton’s time as First Lady, back when Bill Clinton was President of the United States. To be generous to Hillary Clinton, I’ve chosen the last full year of the Clinton presidency, a time when the impeachment nonsense was past, and when Hillary Clinton should have been quite up to speed on the workings of the White House. If there was a year when Hillary Clinton would have most strongly shown executive leadership in the White House, it would have been 2000.

I don’t know if January, 2000 is representative, in terms of the amount of time Hillary Clinton spent on any activities that could be categorized as executive leadership, providing her with the experience necessary to lead from “day one” as President, but I can say that Hillary Clinton’s activities in January, 2000 are extremely unimpressive. She spent almost the entire month promoting herself.
Hillary Clinton didn’t even spend the whole day of the State of the Union Address in Washington, D.C. Hillary Clinton seems to have had absolutely no input into the last State of the Union Address her husband had as President of the United States. No input at all. She just wasn’t around. That doesn’t speak very well of Hillary Clinton’s involvement in White House affairs.
How much White House executive leadership time did Hillary Clinton have in January, 2000? She had a 20 minute briefing with the President of the United States. Nothing more.
I still have to look at much of the other time that Hillary Clinton spent as First Lady, but so far, all Hillary Clinton seems qualified to do from her time in the White House is to have fundraisers and photo opportunities… from Day One!
