The writings of white supremacist shooter James Von Brunn on Free Republic, and right-wing readers' positive reaction to his writings, is mirrored here for historical reference. Free Republic has taken the post down, trying to shove it down the memory hole.

Read the Google Cache of the "Arizona Sentinel" blog cut-and-paste hack job that right-wingers are claiming "proves" that Barack Obama applied to Occidental College as a foreigner. As you'll see with a quick read and the most minimal effort to find the faked sources referred to within, it's a hoax. Also a hoax, therefore, is the claim by right-wingers that the "Arizona Sentinel" is a newspaper website taken down by The Man because conspiracy theorists were TOO CLOSE to the truth! See here for a debunking of the fake "article."

Had it up to here with the silence of the Speaker of the House during years and years of U.S. Government torture? Then shout it to the highest clouds: Nancy Pelosi, Resign!

Hillary Clinton Engages In Silly Nitpicking Against Barack Obama

I cannot bring myself to be truly angry about the latest round of attacks against Barack Obama from Hillary Clinton. I’m more amused by them, and feel sorry for the people whose job it was to put them together.

Ever wonder why Hillary Clinton’s strategy to bring Barack Obama down is referred to by Clinton people as the “kitchen sink strategy”? It’s because they try attacking Barack Obama with anything they can grab onto, no matter how small.

j. cliffordThe following are two actual points of attack from the Hillary Clinton for President campaign:

Campaign Alert! Barack Obama’s father didn’t get the hots for Barack Obama’s mother for quite the exact reason that Barack Obama suggested that he did!

Stop the presses! Barack Obama claimed that his mother and father fell in love because of the Civil Rights struggle in Selma, Alabama, but it’s not true! Obama was forced to say that his father and mother came together because of the Civil Rights struggle in general, not just the Civil Rights movement in Selma!

How can we allow such a man to become President?!?

Campaign Shocker! Barack Obama overstated the number of people who had been killed by tornadoes in Greensburg, Kansas!

Contact your pledged delegates and tell them to switch their votes to Hillary Clinton! When Barack Obama visited Greensburg, Kansas after tornadoes ripped the entire town to pieces, he said that more people had been killed there than actually had been killed!

The heartless man! Clearly, Obama is an atheist Communist as well as a fundamentalist adherent of Wasabi Sushi Islam! If Barack Obama is elected President, he might provide too much disaster relief to Americans in need! If there’s one thing that we learned in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, it’s that providing too much disaster relief, too fast, puts people in terrible danger!

Okay, I exaggerated the language a little bit, but really, these are two actual attacks that the Hillary Clinton campaign is using to try to stop Barack Obama from winning the Democratic presidential nomination. Go see for yourself.

The same press release contains another silly attack - the claim that Barack Obama was never a professor, even though the University of Chicago hired Barack Obama as a professor, and called him a professor. Go on to the diaries to read more about that.

This stuff isn’t damaging to anyone but Hillary Clinton. The stench of desperation from the Clinton for President campaign has become overwhelming.

What’s next? The revelation that Barack Obama once drank a foreign beer? Oh that Sillary Clinton!

  • Typical. How ridiculous can the Clinton campaign get?

And yet THEY think OBAMA should drop out!

  • Hillary Clinton’s reasoning: Obama had better quit while he’s ahead. Sheesh.

No, actually Hillary says she wants Obama to stay in the race. In response to Obama’s statement that the primaries were “a good movie that lasted about a half an hour too long,” and “God, when will this be over?”… Hillary said “I like long movies.” She points out the excitement and publicity of the race that has resulted in millions of new voters registering as Democrats for the first time.

If you look around the blogosphere, Hillary’s supporters are pointing out the way the issues are getting out into the public eye. You don’t see that with the Republican race. I think McCain is getting ready to launch a new media campaign about “the history of my life”.
