Surge Juice Runs Dry For McCain

John McCain has been busy claiming that, despite continuing daily violence across Iraq, that victory has been acheived there. Of course, John McCain also said way back in 2003 that victory had already been achieved.

Lately, McCain has been touting the idea that there’s a turnaround in Iraq. Now, he’s hit with a real turnaround. Violence is on the increase in Iraq again. April has been the deadliest month for American soldiers in Iraq since September.

How terribly inconvenient for John McCain’s political ambitions.

One Response to Surge Juice Runs Dry For McCain

  1. Tom says:

With over 80% of the populace, Republicans and Democrats, solidly against the War in Iraq now (admitting it was a mistake), McCain doesn’t have a leg to stand on come November. He’ll be bashed by the Democratic candidate for wanting to continue in a completely failed policy, wasting our troops’ lives and our dwindling monetary supply, and for not having a clue how to end the war and start a new policy. There always has to be an “enemy” to keep the military/industrial monster happy.
