This is exactly why I don’t vote. It is never about why the person should be voted into office, but always about why they shouldn’t. If Barack is the guy then guess what all you jury duty serving voters will put him in office. Whether it will be Clinton, or McCain who knows. But there is no need for anyone to degrade another fellow human for political power or positioning. See the problem with some of my fellow Christians is that they feel that it is more important to push a man’s name before they push Christ’s name. So instead of wasting precious life putting people down how about lifting them up. And for any true Christian you must remember that Christ said love your neighbor as yourself….how would you feel if your name replaced Obama’s here in this title. Get a life and live it ….. In Christ. Oh yeah I love you all.

As I re-read my statement I can see how you would think it was a threat. The fear I was speaking about was not fear of God. I do not believe anyone should believe out of fear of damnation.

The fear I was alluding to was the constant fear of conspiracies, governments, wars and the like. These do not scare me because my fate is in His hands.

Please accept my appolgy for the ambiguous statement. I do not wish to join the ranks of threatening Believers any more than I want to drag Christ’s name through the political process.
