Four Superdelegates Go to Obama, One to Clinton

Four superdelegates have just formally announced their intention to support Barack Obama as the Democratic presidential nominee:

Jeannette Council of North Carolina
Inhola Henry of California
Jennifer McClellan of Virginia
Jerry Meek of North Carolina

One superdelegate has just announced his support for Hillary Clinton:

Heath Shule of North Carolina

This would seem to increase Barack Obama’s delegate lead by three. Actually, Obama’s delegate lead has just increased by four, since Jennifer McClellan was a Clinton-supporting superdelegate until today, so her switch not only added to the Obama column but also subtracted from the Clinton column.
