As one who reveres the constitution as an Historical document of timeless common sense, it seems strange that anyone who has taken an oath of allegiance to it(some more than once)should now try to alter it. These persons show a remarkable level of ignorance and/or stupidity in the presentation shown here. It would do well for Jim and other like-minded godists to read the document in its entirety. The results might be more edifying than hanging you hat on a flawed and faulty dogma.

The Constitution was written by men who carefully studied the effects of religious dogma on government The same governments that created class in society, were happy to keep the general public ignorant by encouraging them to bow down and worship god in fear of divine retribution from a priest cult supported and controlled by government. Meanwhile the monarchy and the aristocracy were busy raping the populace, destroying initiative and enslaving talent.

By the way: "There is but one god and his name is Yaweh". There is but one god and his name is Allah. You either accept that there is ONE god who is nameless, or accept many gods to whom you give names. Neither of which is the purview of this or any other administration.

Joe, if you really believe that it's anti-Christian to fight against members of Congress who want to use the power of government to promote Christianity over other religions, then you believe that the Bill of Rights is anti-Christian.

All five of you guys are going to ignore me?

The design toolbag,

You don't know any of that shit you said about Obama to be true because he's never stated any of that. Look up the definition of communism and it doesn't say any of the things you listed are involved in communism. It does talk about a classless, stateless society of common ownership. (Sound familiar?) Commie's also have a problem with capitalism as does Barack Hussein Obama.

The Iranians, the Saudis and the Taliban also say they're just standing up for high standards of morality too.

Yeah, except for the fact that Barack Obama doesn't have long hair, and he doesn't wear a beret, and he's not a member of the communist party, and he favors diplomacy over armed insurrection, and that he supports civil liberties, and about forty other things, yeah, all except for just about everything if you tilt your head and squint you could swear that Barack Obama is Che Guevara.

Joe, you just keep making your wildly incorrect and public assumptions about who we are if they make you feel comfortable. They have the helpful side effect of making you look ridiculous enough that people won't pay attention to what else you write.

Week of May 21st Score Jim 2 God 0. Go Jim Go! I wonder which commandments he has a problem with? Thou Shall not steal? (Taxes) Thou Shall have no other god before me? (The environment) Thou shall not covet your neighbor? (Class envy).

After reading the text of the bill it looked like a time to refocus on morals. Boo morals, unless you feel morally obligated to believe in global warming, you know for the kids, then yea morals!

Side note love the Obama shirts that look like Che Guevara! It subtlety says 'Communism' but with a touch of spring. Great for those Saturdays you drive your SUV to Starbucks while listening to NPR talking about American consumption.

God as an almighty sovereign over the United States of America? They mean preachers as sovereign theocrats ruling over the American people. This is medieval thinking.

These people are trying to drag America back to the days of the Salem witch trials.
