Gore 2008 is For Barack Obama

It can be hard to let go of a political dream, to align yourself with a candidate who captivates you with a vision that matches your own. So it is that even though the 2008 Democratic presidential primary has been decided beyond any reasonable doubt, some still hang on, hoping that their favorite candidate for President will gain the Democratic nomination instead of Barack Obama.

No, I am not talking about Hillary Clinton supporters. I am talking about the people who, against all odds, continue to support Al Gore for President.

We understand. Al Gore caught our attention once upon a time too. That’s why we’ve kept our Al Gore for President campaign catalog online for so long.

Yet, there comes a time when even the most affectionate denial must give way. For Gore die hards, tonight is that time. Al Gore will endorse Barack Obama for President tonight.

Will disgruntled Gore supporters go rushing into the arms of John McCain?

Well, uh… no.
