"The secret of ugliness consists not in irregularity, but in being uninteresting." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

The writings of white supremacist shooter James Von Brunn on Free Republic, and right-wing readers' positive reaction to his writings, is mirrored here for historical reference. Free Republic has taken the post down, trying to shove it down the memory hole.

Read the Google Cache of the "Arizona Sentinel" blog cut-and-paste hack job that right-wingers are claiming "proves" that Barack Obama applied to Occidental College as a foreigner. As you'll see with a quick read and the most minimal effort to find the faked sources referred to within, it's a hoax. Also a hoax, therefore, is the claim by right-wingers that the "Arizona Sentinel" is a newspaper website taken down by The Man because conspiracy theorists were TOO CLOSE to the truth! See here for a debunking of the fake "article."

Had it up to here with the silence of the Speaker of the House during years and years of U.S. Government torture? Then shout it to the highest clouds: Nancy Pelosi, Resign!

Governmentscientistofascism?

It now seems that the top suspect in the 2001 anthrax attacks that brought the entire nation into a panic but only resulted in 5 deaths was not a radical Muslim, but a government scientist who helped investigate the attacks. The suspect, Bruce Ivins, has committed suicide.

It seems likely, given the suicide, that Ivins was involved in one of the very few bioterrorist attacks ever to take place, but there will never be a trial now, and so we may never know for sure. In criminal investigations, things are often not what they seem. The government also leaked the name of scientist Steven Hatfill as the prime suspect in the anthrax attacks years ago, but it turned out that he probably was not responsible for the attacks in any way.

Lack of certainty has never prevented Republicans from accusing people of being terrorists, however. So, now the Republicans have to come up with a new name for ths sort of terrorism that Ivins is accused of having committed.

How about governmentscientistofascism? Are we going to have a war on governmentscientistofascism now?

Oh, and just one more pesky question: How come Bruce Ivins wasn’t hauled off to Guantanamo Bay and tortured and tried by military tribunal? How come he got the benefit of a legal domestic criminal investigation and prosecution? Because he was a governmentscientistofascist and not an islamofascist?

“How come Bruce Ivins wasn’t hauled off to Guantanamo Bay and tortured and tried by military tribunal?”

Because he works for the industry that was created to kill people on a massive scale: weapons research in military industrial complex.
    They’re “special”, see.

i’m surprised that Hatfield wasn’t given the “Jack Bauer” torture treatment before they had to pay him the millions of dollars for simply guessing wrong.
