What is Senator Charles Schumer doing on my breakfast plate? Maybe he’s learned to whip up something sweeter than an Attorney General who keeps stonewalling Congress on torture, politicized prosecutions and arbitrary executive authority. Schumer was the Senator whose vote permitted the confirmation of Michael Mukasey. I know, the confirmation was all nearly a year ago, but Mukasey sticks around, continuing to do George W. Bush’s bidding. I still have this bitter taste in my mouth. Waiter, please take this dish back.
