I am Not A Georgian and John McCain Does Not Speak For Me

Who does John McCain think he is, President of the United States?

Yesterday morning, McCain called Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili. McCain told Saakashvili that “all Americans” support the government of Georgia. “I know I speak for every American when I said to him, today, we are all Georgians.”, McCain says that he told Saakashvili.

Whoah there, big fella!

creepy john mccain has it wrong on the Georgia Russia warJohn McCain does not speak for all Americans on anything. He is an elected representative of Arizona in the U.S. Senate. McCain also represents Republican voters, a minority of all Americans. McCain has no authority to claim to speak on behalf of the entire United States, especially on matters of war and peace..

I am not a Georgian, Senator McCain. I am an American and I do not support the government of the nation of Georgia. Mikhail Saakashvili is a nationalist who created a stupid war in order to bolster his own popularity, and ended up throwing away the lives and homes of the Georgian people he is supposed to serve.

I don’t support the autocratic government of Russia, but only the most simple-minded foreign policy requires that the USA pick one side to support wholeheartedly in this idiotic little war.

John McCain does not speak for me.

    Talk about presumptuous!

  2. Ben says:

Exellent comment…John Mccain is 72 …kind of lived his life…like bushy he wants to keep fighting one war after another…give us all a break…bring back the troops and live and let live…

  3. Tom says:

Yeah, why doesn’t Obama just point out the obvious in his ads and show McCain for what he is – a warmongering bigot and hater of all but HIS religion, who will use military force FIRST to “resolve” all foreign (and maybe even domestic) policy problems?

We don’t need and can’t afford any more of this complete idiocy!

  4. Norman Bie says:

Bush’s performance has been abysmal, including his past actions toward Georgia, BUT we must thank our lucky stars John McCain wasn’t President last weekend, or nuclear weapons would have been launched.
As LinkTV & Bloomberg News reported: Russian troop set up several nuclear-armed cannon in North Ossetia & South Ossetia. Putin announced his intention to begin nuclear attack if the United States interfered. John McCain immediately advocated interfering.

  5. Surf Thru says:

No proof of a Nuke cannon…..just bluster….call their bluff….and YES it would be worth the risk. Let’s end this shit once and for all….don’t like it…go hide….

  6. Fruktata says:

So, you want to just go kill all the Russians once and for all, Surf Thru?

  7. Jim says:

No, he wants to start a nuclear war, Frukky. Hell, it’s “worth the risk,” and if you “don’t like it…go hide.”

I think this guy interpreted Doctor Strangelove as a romantic comedy.

  8. Ralph says:

Now just a second, Jim! Doctor Strangelove WAS a romance novel about the Russian revolution written by Geraldo Guevara. Mullah Omar starred in the movie. I’m not confused! Fuck you! Fuck fuckety fuck fuck!

  9. Fruktata says:

No it was not! It was written by Geraldo O’Reilly, who became Geraldo Coulter when he engaged in a counter-cultural marriage with Vladimir Guevara, AKA Brit Hume.

    Get your names straight, Ralph!
