Democratic Convention, Republican Frame

Is anyone else getting the sinking feeling that the Democratic National Convention has so thoroughly accepted and promoted the Republican frame of ideas that it’s paving a smooth path for next week’s Republican National Convention?

One Response to Democratic Convention, Republican Frame

  1. Tom says:

How much more evidence do we need to realize that the Democrats and the Republicans are the same party in essence? The Republicans are over the top war mongering greed hounds and the Democrats are the feel good/kinder gentler Republican lite party.

If you want to hear change let’s get McCain and Obama to debate with Nader. He’d kill them with facts proving that their two-party policies are both corporate driven and that they in fact are corporate spokespeople!

Nothing much will change except to get worse until about 2010, when the effects of all the greed from the Bush administration finally washes out of the system. However, the banks are teetering on bankruptcy and the nation could go down the tubes with all the forced bailouts, the massive national debt, the broken military and infrastructure and unaffordable health care (just to name a few of the problems looming in the near future).

    Stay tuned.
