Give yourself 5 seconds to think of some of the serious mistakes made by George W. Bush during his time in the White House.
How many could you come up with during that time? I was able to list five. Coming up with one of Bush’s mistakes during that time is a piece of cake. Anyone could do it.
But will the Republicans do it?
Will the speakers at the Republican National Convention next week finally admit to some of the mistakes made by George W. Bush, or will they pretend that they never happened?
They will admit to as many as did Kerry and the DNC did in 1999…how stupid is this post….
Let’s spell this out, Sam. How many mistakes is that…
…and do you think it’s a good thing if the Republicans won’t admit that Bush has made mistakes McCain will need to avoid?
Clinton’s mistakes? You are kidding or were you asleep for 8 yeras…oh, no…you’re just a progressive, Clinton made no huge mistakes….and I think McCain knows the mistakes Bush made and will fix them with out punishing me for it….
Sam, search Irregular Times and you’ll see that the people at this web site actually did write in criticism of Bill Clinton.
It seems you can’t engage in similar critical examination of George W. Bush.
Now, how many mistakes by Bush will the Republicans at the Republican National Convention admit to? Do you think it’s a good thing if the Republicans won’t admit that Bush has made mistakes that McCain will need to avoid?
Frankly…I don’t think he made any mistakes…no wait…he did want to give amnesty to illegals…and tried to say there was only man made global warming….but other than that…no wait…he did make the Goverment bigger with stupid programs like the new drug assistance plan….but for things like The war on Terror and Iraq he was right on the mark….so yea…no real mistakes. Just like Bubba Bill….
So, you don’t think Bush made any mistakes. Why were you so reluctant to admit that, Sam?
I’m not afraid to acknowledge that Bill Clinton made many mistakes. Why are you and your Republican brethren so hesitant?
Do you think it’s a good thing that the Republicans at the convention won’t acknowledge any mistakes made by George W. Bush?
Come on….You and the DNC didn’t either…he who casts the first stone…oh wait…can’t quote God here…sorry….
Bullshit, Sam. We criticized Bill Clinton then and we’re criticizing Barack Obama now. What are you afraid of, Sam?
Sam, do you think it’s a good thing if the Republicans at their national convention won’t acknowledge that George W. Bush made any mistakes?
What makes you so timid, Sam?
Certianly not you people….
Besides….I do not believe Bush made any bad mistakes….period. So for the RNC to acknowledge any would be…silly….
No bad mistakes from the Bush administration? Just itty bitty mistakes? Not big bad mistakes like Bill Clinton?
Letting Bin Laden slip out of Afghanistan?
Teeny little mistake.
Starting a war that’s killed tens of thousands of people and wasted $3,000,000,000,000.00 to take weapons of mass destruction out of the hands of someone that didn’t have them?
Itty bitty mistake.
Letting hundreds of people drown inside a major U.S. city before sending help?
Oops, but no big deal.
Getting a blowjob?
Bad mistake. Bad, bad bad.
Republicans please, please keep this up. It is hilarious. Don’t admit a single mistake the Bush administration made, then try to counter accusations that you’re out of touch with reality!
Letting Bin Laden slip out of Afghanistan?
Yea…we should have done that instead of letting the Afghani’s deliver the final death blow…okay, I’ll give you that one.
Starting a war that’s killed tens of thousands of people and wasted $3,000,000,000,000.00 to take weapons of mass destruction out of the hands of someone that didn’t have them?
Oh…how funny that we were the only ones involved with that…no, wait, so were 21 other nations….it was a coilition of nations all operating under the same intel, provided by England and “verified” by the UN…that we now know was falsly leaked by the Iraqis to scare us off. God…how funny details are…..
Letting hundreds of people drown inside a major U.S. city before sending help?
Yea…Bush didn’t send anything. He had to wait for the ever so resourceful Major Nagel to tell him….yea….Bushes fault…now that’s being stupid….
Getting a blowjob?
Blow job…no big deal…lying to a grand jury…big deal. Doen’t matter what the subject matter was…the President should not lie to a grand jury. That’s the misdemeanor that got him….
So….keep grabbing at straws…McCains victory will taste even more sweet…
21 other nations… like Palau.
21 other nations… like Palau. You’re so blinded by partisanship that it hurts, Sam.
So Palau is not a nation…or only contries like..what..Communist China matter? So I guess England, Italy count then…Point is not very internationally inclusive are we Jim…
No, Palau is a nation… a bought-off nation. Study the money transfers between the Bush administration and so many of those 21 nations.
If Clinton had done this you’d have been all in his face about it. Take off the predictable and disappointing partisan blinders.
Like when Clinton bought off nations to support actions in Kosovo? Bosnia? Oh, I see….
Yeah. We gave Clinton hell about it. Because we aren’t partisan tools.
Stop being a partisan tool.
By the way…you do know we are still in Kosovo…right? Part of Nato and Kfor? Right? You do know that…?
Yes, and?
So…why aren’t you all screaming to leave Kosovo?
You’re not drawing a logical or empirical parallel. Go back to the beginning and start again. It may help you in evaluating and refining your argument to explicitly name the parallel you think you’re drawing.
Blow job…no big deal…lying to a grand jury…big deal. Doen’t matter what the subject matter was…the President should not lie to a grand jury. That’s the misdemeanor that got him….

Silly Democrats! President Clinton thought that we are a nation of laws, not men. As such when subpoenaed, he testified under oath…
He should have done what Republicans do, claim executive privileged, claim that you are above the law. Not only you, but your staff, your spouse, your friends and anyone else who has something to hide.
Sam:
Your less-than scholarly quote in respoinse #7 Highlights your ignorance on biblical matters as well political.
The story of the woman found in adultery is at best apocryphal and most biblical scholars agree, does not exist in the earliest gospels. But you Sam infer, that it is a quote from God.
Do you, like so many republicans have some special connection with the diety? Or is this just another right wing christian neo-fascist quote of the day?
