Irregular Times: News Unfit to Print Logo

It is a time of fear in the face of freedom, a time of barricaded roads and new paths. Maps fade and direction is lost as we glance sideways at the strange lands through which we pass, knowing for certain only that our destination has disappeared. We are unready to meet these times but we proceed nonetheless, adapting as we wander, reshaping the Earth with every tread. Gone are the old times, the standard times, the high times. Welcome to the irregular times.

Out Of Church Is Where The Men Are
posted 10th March 2009 in Religion, Sex and Gender by F. G. Fitzer

Women, if you’re going to church to try to find yourself a good man, you can pray to Jesus all you like, but your chances aren’t very good. In every denomination of Christianity in the United States, women strongly outnumber the men.

If you’re looking for husband material, try the atheists, agnostics and other nonreligious Americans. According to the American Religious Identification Survey of 2008, the ratio of men to women in these groups is 3 to 2.

If you go to church just to find a man, that’s shallow. However, if you go to church and find like minded people, i.e. believers, you’ll be in good company. If you’re an atheist, why would you want to fall in love with a Jesus believer. The same is true for a christian, why waste your time with an atheist/agnostic who will belittle you. There may be fewer men in the pews, but quality remains!
