My daughter(15) and her sister(14) got into a tussel. My 15yrs old was charged with a felony and DNA was collected. She has never even been in trouble before and now she is in the DNA Database. In MN all you have to do is be charged and they are collecting DNA. A public defender friend told me that over half of the kids are being charged with a felony so that the sample is taken than the convict them of a misdemenor. In ten years every family in the state will have their dna in the system!

How soon before they confiscate MEDICAL information for DNA samples, private data (oh, it’s a matter of national security now to know about your sexually transmitted disease or your ulcer)?
Yeah, yeah HIPPA laws my ass – there were laws about wiretapping by phone companies without authorization too, what happened to them? Oh.
