New Oil Spill In Alaska Of Unknown Size

Yet another oil spill, which oil company executives keep on telling us are “rare”, has taken place, this one in association with drilling on and near Prudhoe Bay in Alaska. Crude oil spewed out onto the tundra, while natural gas was released into the air. British Petroleum, the company responsible for the equipment that leaked, won’t release information about how much oil was leaked or why the leak took place.
