While I believe Obama is eligible to be president, that does not mean he is well qualified fo rthe job, nor does that eliminate him from also being the anti-Christ.
Warrior Joe is right. Barack Obama has not been eliminated from the possible set of people who are the Anti-Christ. You know, it would be so simple, so easy for Barack Obama to release evidence proving that he is NOT the Anti-Christ. A full-body scan to demonstrate a lack of the mark of the beast on his body would suffice. Why hasn’t Barack Obama released the results of a full-body scan? Why hasn’t Barack Obama simply stepped up to the mike and declared that he is not the Anti-Christ? Until he does, isn’t it reasonable to assume that Barack Obama has something to hide? Why hasn’t Press Secretary Robert Gibbs answered any questions about Barack Obama’s identity as the Anti-Christ? Why hasn’t a single member of Barack Obama’s cabinet answered any questions about Barack Obama being the Anti-Christ? Applying Occam’s Razor, isn’t the simplest explanation for the stonewalling by Barack Obama and his entire cabinet on this issue that he is, indeed, the Anti-Christ?

Ol’ Warrior Joe has probably lived too long in industrial-polluted Conshohocken (maybe too many lead paint chips as a child or constant respiration of particulate-filled air his whole life) to be making such statements.
Look Joe, if anyone is “anti-Christ” it’s our entire civilization, but we can narrow it down to the “ownership” class (like the bankers of the world) or the military people (is that what Christ would do?) as being mostly anti whatever good for which Christ stood. If you want ONE person, i would have handed it to Cheney (or maybe Bush, jr.) before Obama. But why wasn’t it Pol Pot, Hitler, or Timothy Leary? What are the criteria (besides the mark) we should go by?

how do you see this as being pushed on you? everyone has some perspective, and in my opinion it’s better for everyone to have an open forum. some ideas that were considered wacko, are now held as fact. as for BO being the anti christ…..I am far more concerned about his interpretation of the constitution as a (living document) but that is another issue.
None of them are qualified to be THE Anti-Christ. They are far to unpopular. When someone comes along and has approval ratings at 99% and almost every single person in the world would vote for them to take over it all. Then we have a real candidate with us. The Bible teaches that the Anti-Christ will decieve almost everyone.
That does not mean that these men are not anti-Christs. They are just not THE Anti-Christ

I am not a big end times guy so I could be wrong on this. You are using English charachters in references to a Greek prophesy. Is Barrack Obamma spelled the same in Greek or would it be in Greek characters?
I checked my Old Hebrew dictionary and yes they do match 666.

99% approval? So, assuming more than 1% of the world will remain Christian for the next hundred years at least, if this anti-christ comes along any time soon, you expect most christians will approve of its reign as well as us heathens?
Sounds like typical no-win religious paranoia to me. “Jesus wants X and Y, but if anyone shows up doing X and Y you better not go along with it, because they’re really planning Z!”
Its not paranoia. Its just that this man will be the king of deciet. Also, I didnt say that if a person came along that was so vastly popular that approval would be 99% he would be the anti-christ. I just said he would be a candidate for it. The anti christ will appear to do a lot of great things at first that we would all support. His intentions will not be pure though.
My point though is that Obama does not seem to be him.
jacob, it sounds like we could really use the anti-christ. at least to help clean up the mess of these lesser than anti-christ types. we could vote him out of office when his polling numbers dip below 98%.
