One Year Ago: Rick Warren Inaugural Flap Was The Start of Something Small
posted 5th January 2010 in Barack Obama, Politics, Religion, Sex and Gender by Jim

A year ago today, Rowan considered invitation of anti-gay preacher Rick Warren to deliver the invocation at the Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama. “It’s only symbolism,” declared some, “noise has been made,” that’s all. When it comes to substance, they said, Barack Obama will deliver.

One year later, has Barack Obama delivered on his campaign promise to repeal the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act?
