Our nation’s dependence on dirty fossil fuels has led to a huge leak of crude oil from a pipeline in North Dakota. The pipeline, operated by Enbridge Energy Partners, spilled an estimated 126,000 gallons of oil out onto the prairies, or what had once been the prairies.
Meanwhile, all in Los Angeles, solar power spilled out all over the city and surrounding countryside, resulting in… a nice 65 degree start to the day.

Another interesting take on things to come:

unfortunetly, you won’t see any major media coverage on either spill. both spills are a terrible waste, but only one is both a waste and a scar. to bad we can’t talk more about harnessing all that sunshine and less about pipelines and off shore drilling.
