A Private Alternative To Google

Google records your IP address, and adds your searches into its database, which it then will share with federal government spy agencies as part of the massive espionage taking place under the FISA Amendments Act. If you have a Google account, the privacy is evey less, with details of your Internet activity directly connected to your name.

There are alternatives: Ixquick doesn’t record your IP address. Would you consider using that search engine, or a similar one, instead of Google?

If not, what’s stopping you from making the switch?

i’ve already given up the notion that i have any privicy or any security, although the constant security updates on my cumputer certainly gives me a false sense of security on the internet. so, if google throws me to the feds then they can lock me up and foot the bill.
