President Obama this weekend met with Republicans in Congress and declared, “Nobody has been a bigger promoter of clean coal technology than I am.”
Dead coal miners.
Pools of toxic sludge.
Mountains blown apart.
Soot and carbon dioxide in the air.
Clean coal?!?
How can any environmentalist support Obama’s re-election in 2012?
…wow, King of clean coal, with more money for off shore drilling and new Nuke plants…gosh, how’s that Hope and Change working out for you Green Man?
You know, Tomas, I get the “how’s that Hope and Change working out for you” phrase. I really get it, because you know, it became apparent even before Election Day 2008. Obama isn’t working out, and hasn’t been, from the start.
The thing is, saying “how’s that Hope and Change working out for you” really doesn’t cut it. The problem isn’t just Obama. It’s what Obama stands for – the same old fossil fuel economy, with minor “clean” window dressing.
So, Tomas, I’m just as interested in the question: “How’s that fossil fuel economy working out for you?” How’s it working out for you, Tomas?
he shoots wolves too… and will do nothing on climate change… and will sell the front range to oil and gas businesses…
It’s working out for me just fine. I’ve got affordable electricity since I live in an area serviced by a Nuke Plant. I’ve got affordable fuel because of a near by refinery and cheap natural gas because of that same refinery. So, yea, those fossile fules work well for me. That afforadable fossile fuels allow me to spend the savings on other things.
he did say he supports green energy alternatives and a new green tech industry. and recycling, he’s all for recycling. what’s a few more years of coal, what’s a few more leaking pipelines, and when was the last nuclear disaster? cut this guy some slack, hey, we could have sarah palin coming down the chute in 2012. what would you think about that, green man?
I think about things like the Tritium leaking from 25 percent of our nation’s nuclear reactors:

Hey Green Man, just be like Tomas – ignorant – and all will be just fine (at least that’s his take on it; you know, as long as he gets his, everyone else can go pound sand).
“cheap natural gas because of that same refinery..”
what? maybe he thinks gas comes from oil…
