While Senators Snooze, Oklahoma Hold Out Goes 162 Hours

While Senators are paid handsomely to skip their own committee meetings, the Oklahoma Hold Out hasn’t been paid a cent and yet is in its 163rd hour outside Tom Coburn’s Oklahoma office, pressuring the Senator to drop his hold and let legislation proceed for relief to the victims of the Lord’s Resistance Army.

Since Obama is going around Holder for the trials, does this mean Holder is being thrown under the bus? link

  2. Tomas says:

Yeap, most likely…Obama first all else is road kill….

Well, there’s your economic libertarian for you. Ron Paul will be buying the straw poll victory. But that’s really what straw polls are about — not numerical support, but ability to organize. Ron Paul’s always been a good organizer.

Qs, what’s your opinion of the situation with the Lord’s Resistance Army?

      • qs says:

Everyone knows these straw polls don’t matter, but if Romney or Palin wins, then Fox News will be all over it.

So I think it’s better for Paul to win.

        “Lord’s Resistance Army?”

I don’t know anything about this group. Doesn’t sound like they’re doing anything constructive though since it’s all violent.

        • qs, if you don’t know anything about this group, then you really need to research it. They’re a terrible insurgent group that goes out and kidnaps children, subjects them to terrible abuse, and forces the children to then join the army, kidnapping yet more kids.

    Lord’s Resistance Army?

I don’t know who that is, but when you first said it hezbollah jumped into my head.
