What will you be putting in your garden this year?
When old landmarks crumble, established roads no longer lead the way. New paths open to those with an irregular eye. Our news is unfit for print.

It’s a bit early, isn’t it? Is your soil dry enough to work?
Believe it or not, the soil is quite dry enough to work. Up here, we haven’t had a significant snow since January.
But I’m not putting in peppers or cukes or pumpkins just yet. Those are growing inside just now. My question is kinda prospective.
Spinach grows especially well when started early. Something fun is to sprinkle a variety of poppy seeds in amongst the vegetables.
After having my tomatoes AND peppers suffer from that damn blight last year, i’m constructing a raised bed garden this month with newly hauled-in prepared soil for beans, tomatoes, squash, peppers, onions, and hopefully carrots. i tried potatoes last year, but they never came up, so i may try again this year.
