This is not a joke: Hundreds of people have been attacked by vampires in Peru. Four people have died. The rest have been treated by physicians who confirm their wounds.
The attackers were not the undead, however. They were vampire bats.
The vampire bats had rabies, which caused them to be unusually aggressive. Four children died of rabies after being bitten by the animals.
