Coal And Oil Collide In Australia

The oil spills keep on coming. The newest spill is at the Port of Newcastle, on Koorarang Island in Queensland, Australia.

This fossil fuel accident began with a freighter preparing to take on a huge load of coal. The ship pumped out balast water… and many metric tons of oil as well.

The pollution that comes with fossil fuels knows no boundaries.
