BP has announced that, because of all of its mistakes in dealing with the Deepwater Horizon offshore drilling disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, which lasted for more than a quarter of a year before it was finally stopped, it is now much better prepared to deal with future oil spills.
That means, if we can just have a few more immense oil spills, offshore drilling will finally be safe! That’s why we need to put an end to the moratorium on expanding offshore drilling up and down America’s coastlines…
