Open Letter to the Left Establishment, in Brief

December 11th, 2010 | Posted by Jim Cook in Activism | Barack Obama

Hello, Big Name Liberals.

Have you finally caught on that Barack Obama is the Bill Clinton of the 21st Century? He’s not going to push hard to pass your liberal agenda. Actually, he’s not going to push for liberal policy at all. Actually actually, he’s going to continue pushing against the liberal agenda, as he has been for two years.

The Obama administration has called you “fucking retarded” and says you must be on drugs. Hello? Do you need a bigger hint that this man is not your pal?

Nobody pays attention when we say and do anything. But maybe people would pay attention to you. So, um, could you pull your brain out of your ass and start protesting please? Like at the White House on December 16, for instance?

Signed,

A Lot of People Who You Recognize by Name but Who Few Other People Recognize

P.S. Please write more Op-Eds too.

Obama, like Clinton, is part and parcel of the liberal establishment that sold out long ago and are desperately trying to preserve the last vestiges of power ans ivory tower morality (as long as they don’t have to do anything.

The only activism or principle these liberal PC wannabees, as Chris Hedges correctly says in “The Death of Liberalism” is in the realm of the boutique activism of political correctness. because that, after all, is safe and won’t offend their “friends” and de facto patrons in corporate America.

The innuendo and veiled threats from Obama is part and parcel of the retreat from even the pretense of concern for anything that requires he and they actually stand up for something.
